Mr. Lee’s practice is focused primarily-on the procurement of both patents and trademarks with an emphasis on software, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic arts and in advising start-ups regarding intellectual property matters. Representative technologies handled by Mr. Lee in patent matters include digital devices, semiconductors, software, advanced physics and mathematical related technologies and networking technologies. He also has experience with other in-house counsel issues such as confidentiality agreements and licenses.

Prior to joining Beyer Law Group, Mr. Lee was an in-house patent counsel for the University of California at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, where Mr. Lee supported plasma fusion, free-electron laser, and electrical and mechanical engineering groups. Mr. Lee was also an in-house patent counsel for FMC Corporation, where he was involved in government contracts working with the DFARs, confidentiality agreements and licenses.

Mr. Lee’s primary clients are Lam Research Corporation( semiconductor processing) and Stanford University (magnetic resonance imaging and computer tomography).

Mr. Lee is a member of the U.S. Patent Bar, and is a member of the California State Bar.
