Ms. Ando’s intellectual property practice mainly focuses on patent preparation and prosecution. She also handles patent infringement and validity opinions, due diligence analysis, as well as trademark counseling. Ms. Ando also assists Japanese companies and start-ups to obtain intellectual property rights in the United States and worldwide.

Ms. Ando’s technical expertise includes computer technologies, sensors, input devices, GPS/GNSS receivers, navigation and display systems, semiconductor device fabrication, telecommunications and network technologies, digital and analog signal processing, solar energy management systems, and water treatment systems.

Ms. Ando’s education includes an undergraduate degree (B.S. in Physics) from the University of Tsukuba, Japan; a graduate degree (M.S. in Nuclear Physics) from the University of Tsukuba, Japan; and a law degree (JD) from Franklin Pierce Law Center.

Prior to joining Beyer Law Group Ms. Ando was an associate with Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP. She is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the State Bar of California.

Ms. Ando is fluent in Japanese (native) and Korean (conversational).
