Ms. Ando’s intellectual property practice mainly focuses on patent preparation and prosecution. She also handles patent non-infringement and invalidity opinions, due diligence analysis, as well as trademark registrations. Ms. Ando also assists Japanese companies and start-ups to obtain intellectual property rights in the United States and worldwide.
Ms. Ando’s technical expertise includes computer technologies, sensors, input devices, GPS/GNSS receivers, navigation and display systems, semiconductor device fabrication, telecommunications and network technologies, digital and analog signal processing, solar energy management systems, and water treatment systems.
Ms. Ando’s education includes an Undergraduate Degree (B.S. in Physics) from the University of Tsukuba, Japan; a Graduate Degree (M.S. in Nuclear Physics) from the University of Tsukuba, Japan; and a Law Degree (JD) from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
